7th Grade NJSLA Math Worksheets: Free Printable Review

Choose your Grade 7 practice

NJSLA is a New Jersey assessment. The current mathematics assessment is NJSLA-Adaptive (NJSLA-A). The NJDOE Grade 7 blueprint groups mathematics into ratios and proportional relationships, the number system, expressions and equations, and geometry with statistics and probability.

Start with the skill your class is studying or one you missed in recent work. For ratios, explain what each quantity represents before calculating; for signed numbers, check the sign separately from the arithmetic; for equations, substitute your answer back into the original equation. Try a few items, check the PDF’s answer section, and redo missed problems with your steps shown.

The New Jersey Grade 7 standards also include scale drawings, random sampling and compound probability. This collection does not fully teach or assess all of those skills. Use your teacher’s assignments to fill gaps. Systems of equations, quadratics and other later-course material are separated below so they do not distract from your current work.

For the actual test interface and tools, use the practice resources linked in NJDOE’s assessment FAQ. NJDOE explains that these practice tests familiarize students with the platform; the worksheets here serve a different purpose: reviewing math skills.
