Does Alabama test science in grade 6?
Yes. Alabama students take ACAP Summative Science in grade 6. ACAP Summative tests science at grades 4, 6, and 8. AL grade 6 science is the middle-school entry assessment. Alabama places specific MS-PEs at grade 6 (Earth systems, human activity) with a partial integrated approach.
