About the OST Grade 6 Math Test

Ohio’s State Test (OST) for Grade 6 math is the state-required assessment your sixth grader takes each spring. How to Get the Most Out of These Questions

1. Go solo first. Set a 12-minute timer (about 1 minute per question, like the real test) and try all 10 without help.

3. Re-do the misses cold. Cover the answer and try the missed problems again from scratch the next day.
