If 20% of 35% of \(\frac{2}{3}\)  of variable x equals to 15% of 12% of \(\frac{3}{2}\) y, what is the value of x in terms of y?

The correct answer is \(x=\frac{20}{70}y\).

For this question, try to write an equation. Remember, you need to change percent to decimal. Then, solve for x.
20% of 35% of  \(\frac{2}{3}\) of variable x equals to 15% of 12% of \(\frac{3}{2}\) y.
\(0.20 × 0.35 ×   \frac{2}{3}X = 0.15 × 0.12 ×\frac{3}{2}  y\)
\(X = \frac{0.15×0.12×\frac{3}{2}y}{0.20×0.35×\frac{2}{3}} ⇒ X =\frac{0.018×\frac{3}{2}y}{0.07×\frac{2}{3}}  ⇒ X = \frac{27}{70} y\)
