A clearer path through sixth-grade math

Work through one idea at a time. Predict, explore a visual model, study the lesson, then use fresh skill practice, a five-question check, and unit reviews. Mark the skill when you feel ready, and return whenever you need another look.

A practical study path for students, families, tutors, and teachers. Every lesson and practice set opens in a separate tab so your place here is saved.

A simple way to use each topic

Short, steady sessions work well for most students. Tutors and teachers can assign a unit or pick the exact skill their student is studying in class.

1. Learn

Predict what the visual model will show, then read the worked examples. Say what each number or step means.

2. Practice

Use fresh 5- or 10-question skill rounds. Check one answer at a time, read the explanation, and return to the visual model if you need another look.

3. Revisit

After a unit, use its fresh unit check to explain ideas across topics. Review saved practice results and return to earlier lessons during mixed review.

“Build the foundation” topics help review earlier skills. “Extension / state-specific” topics are useful enrichment and may not be a core Common Core Grade 6 expectation.
