1A shape is a 10 cm by 6 cm rectangle with a 4 cm by 2 cm rectangle cut from one corner. What is its area?
2A figure is made from a 8 m by 5 m rectangle and a 3 m by 3 m square with no overlap. What is the total area?
3A 12 ft by 8 ft rectangle has a 4 ft by 3 ft notch removed. What area remains?
4A composite figure joins two non-overlapping rectangles: 6 cm by 4 cm and 5 cm by 3 cm. Find its area.
5A 9 m by 7 m rectangle has a 3 m by 4 m corner cut out. What is the remaining area?
