The Absolute Best Book to challenge your Smart Student!

The correct answer is C.
Let x be the Alice’s money. Then: \(\frac{2}{5}x = $15 + $15 = $30
X = $75\)
After buying two books, Alice has $45. \(\frac{2}{9}\) of $45 is $10.
10 ÷ 4 = 2.5
The price of each pencil was $2.50
