Find 49 existing North Carolina Grade 3 math PDF links, grouped by skill. Choose a topic below and open its worksheet directly. This directory does not require an email address or account.

Use the collection for focused practice alongside classroom instruction. It includes review and extension topics as well as third-grade work; it is not an official EOG test or a complete North Carolina standards checklist.

Choose a starting skill

Start with one topic your child is learning now. Ask for a drawing or explanation before adding speed. If the method is unclear, return to an easier example, practise the idea, and try a fresh problem later.

  • Multiplication and division: draw 4 groups of 3 dots to show 4 × 3 = 12. Then ask how many groups of 3 fit into 12. This connects the product to 12 ÷ 3 = 4.
  • Fractions: mark 0 and 1 on a number line, divide that interval into four equal lengths, and locate 3/4 at the third mark after zero. Keep the whole the same when comparing fractions.
  • Area and perimeter: a rectangle with sides of 3 and 4 units has an area of 12 square units and a perimeter of 14 units. Count inside squares for area; trace the outside edge for perimeter.
How can I check the work with my child?

Ask your child to show the calculation, explain the picture and label units. Check the reasoning with the class lesson or teacher’s solution. When a mistake appears, work through that step together and let your child try a similar example independently.

Use the official EOG guidance alongside skill practice

North Carolina’s EOG mathematics assessment follows the state’s Standard Course of Study. Its Grade 3 blueprint groups assessed content into operations and algebraic thinking, base-ten numbers, fractions, and measurement/data/geometry. The current NC DPI mathematics test specifications explain the assessment and its domain weights.

The worksheet directory below is broader than that blueprint. For example, line and angle topics, probability, and personal finance should not automatically be treated as Grade 3 EOG requirements. Let the teacher’s current lesson and the state guidance determine what to practise. Separate skill practice from learning the official test’s online tools and response formats.
