Leonhard Euler is one of the greatest mathematicians. He (15 April 1707 – 18 September 1783) was a Swiss mathematician, engineer, geographer, physicist, astronomer, and logician. Leonhard Euler also made important and influential discoveries in many branches of mathematics, including infinitesimal and graph theory, as well as in several disciplines such as topological and analytic number theory.
His famous formula eiπ + 1 = 0, where e is a mathematical constant sometimes known as the Euler number, and i is the square root of minus one.
