50 tests per subject

Features for Your Study Sessions

Worked explanations

Compare the solution with your attempt. Answer support gives you a place to check a calculation or return to the source evidence behind a choice.

Lesson review

Return to the relevant subject lesson. Use the teaching before a second attempt when a missed question reveals a rule or reading skill that needs practice.

Source-based practice

Work from passages and data displays. RLA, Science, and Social Studies practice asks you to interpret information and find evidence supporting an answer.

Linked additional tests

Try fresh online practice when ready. Open the additional tests through the links and QR directory in each subject book.

What You Get Inside

The four original books total 1,151 pages, including their covers and front matter. These are digital books. Each subject has 10 tests in its PDF, plus links and a QR directory for 40 additional online tests that require a browser and internet connection.

Mathematical Reasoning: 270 pages. Arithmetic and fractions lead into algebra, functions, geometry, graphs, and data analysis, with worked examples that explain the calculations and help you check your units.

Reasoning Through Language Arts: 303 pages. Work with passages and arguments. The book includes language and editing practice alongside guidance for developing an Extended Response supported by details from the sources you read.

Science: 320 pages. Review investigations and data analysis. Life science, physical science, and Earth and space science lessons give you practice interpreting source information, including the axes and units on a graph.

Social Studies: 258 pages. Civics, U.S. history, economics, and geography provide the setting for passages and data displays that ask you to interpret sources and evaluate evidence.

Answer keys and explanations support review. The tests are independently written preparation materials, and some interactive question types have paper adaptations so you can work with them in the PDF format.

Review the step that stopped you

Keep the answer section closed first. After attempting a test, mark the questions you guessed as well as the ones you missed, then compare your work with the explanation before deciding what needs another attempt.

You might return to fraction operations in Math, or find the sentence in an RLA passage that supports the answer you selected and explain that choice in your own words. Review correct guesses too. Choose one manageable target. Revisit the relevant lesson before solving the question again with the solution covered, then use fresh mixed practice to check the skill alongside other topics when you are ready.

Why Choose the Instant PDF?

Use a PDF reader on your computer or tablet to move between a lesson and its explanation, or zoom in on a diagram. Open the subject you need.

Selected pages let you work with a pencil without printing the entire collection, and you can keep a notebook beside the PDF for calculations or an error log. Print a lesson at a time.

Explore the companion resources

Public learning hubs are free. They offer further lessons and practice resources independently of a purchase, including 147 current Social Studies flashcards, so you can explore them before deciding whether the collection suits your needs.

Use the hubs' current contents to choose an activity that addresses the skill you are reviewing, then return to a book test when you want mixed practice. Their materials may change.

Is This the Right Book for You?
