Hello,
My name is Hamid. I love teaching because I love learning. I started tutoring when I was in high school, since then, I have taught students from all levels from elementary to high school, undergraduate and graduate students at leading universities.
Not only does teaching help students in need, but also keeps me updated with the material. With every student, I get to learn something new too. It makes me happy when I am able to make my students comfortable with the subject that they thought was hard.
When I tutor, I want my students to understand and visualize the concept. I want them to be able to connect the topics to their environment and surrounding so the concept comes to them naturally.
I am a strong proponent in understanding the basics or fundamentals. When you understand the fundamentals, you can solve the problem in any way it is introduced. I will give best of my efforts to optimize overall student performance.

I’m passionate about tutoring and LOVE the “challenging” stuff, and enjoy working with students to develop a sincere enthusiasm about math. I have a relaxed and warm personality, and I foster an environment where students feel safe to try, make mistakes, and truly learn.
Also, every student is different and making sure that the students understand the subject thoroughly, is my final goal. I customize problems based on every students’ abilities. Therefore, I focus on each student’s weaknesses in addition to their strengths. My commitment to give you the best and my individualized approach allow the students to learn and get good grade.
