MEET THE TEST
What does CAPM practice cover?
Understand the scope of this practice resource.
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) is PMI’s certification for foundational project management knowledge, including predictive and adaptive approaches and business analysis.
The CAPM exam has 150 questions and allows 180 minutes of answering time. Its total includes 135 scored questions and 15 unscored pretest questions. A 10-minute break follows the review of questions 1–75; after starting that break, candidates cannot return to the first section.
Our original study form uses single-answer questions, choose-two questions, written matching responses, labeled image regions and illustrated scenarios. Matching and region responses are static adaptations. Use your own timer and review the directions before starting. The question-type mix and practice-pilot placement are editorial, and this practice does not predict an official score.

SMALL STEPS. STEADY PROGRESS.
Make your next study session useful.
Choose a step you can finish today.
Begin with PMI’s exam content outline. Mark the tasks you can explain, the terms you confuse and the decisions that require more study. Give each weak area a place in your weekly plan.
Attempt the practice form with explanations closed. Use one 180-minute answering budget across both sections. Review your first 75 answers before taking the optional 10-minute break, then continue with the remaining time.
For a project scenario, write down its immediate objective, governing constraint and responsible role. Compare each possible action with those facts before choosing an answer.
For calculations, label the quantities and units first. After calculating, explain what the result says about the project and what it cannot establish.
Review uncertain correct answers alongside mistakes. Record the decisive fact and the strongest alternative, then revisit the underlying topic before repeating the form.
QUICK ANSWERS
CAPM: common questions.
Understand the format, then choose your next step.
What does this free CAPM practice test include?
The original form includes 150 questions and an explanation for each answer. You will work with single-answer and choose-two questions, written matching, labeled regions and illustrated project scenarios.
How should I time the CAPM practice form?
Use 180 minutes of answering time across both sections. After reviewing questions 1–75, you may take a 10-minute break. Continue with the remaining answering time and keep the completed first section closed. This interface relies on your own timer.
Does this form reproduce the official exam interface?
The study booklet uses static matching and region-label responses. It does not implement PMI’s drag-and-drop, hot-spot or animation software. Follow the response directions supplied with each question.
Can my practice percentage predict whether I will pass CAPM?
A percentage on this original form is study feedback. It cannot establish an official passing result. Review your uncertain answers and the concepts behind them rather than treating a practice score as a certification decision.
What are the current CAPM eligibility requirements?
PMI lists a secondary degree or equivalent, a minimum age of 18 and 23 hours of project management education completed before the exam. Check the linked PMI certification page before applying; this practice form does not satisfy or verify education eligibility.
Are these official PMI questions?
These questions are original Effortless Math preparation materials. PMI administers CAPM and provides its own official preparation resources. Consult the linked content outline and handbook for examination policies.
How can I review a project-management scenario effectively?
Explain which fact makes the selected response appropriate. Then compare the strongest alternative with the same objective, constraint and role. If your reasoning rests on an assumption absent from the scenario, identify the information you would need.
