This printable organizer accompanies the hub lesson. It is a guided study sheet, not a scored test or an official ASVAB question set.
Add forces with their directions in mind. Equal opposite forces can balance; an unbalanced net force changes velocity. An object moving at constant velocity can still have forces acting on it if they balance. Friction opposes relative motion or its tendency at a contact surface. Weight is gravitational force, whereas mass describes how much matter an object contains and its resistance to acceleration.
A cart pushed forward with 30 N against 10 N of friction has a 20 N forward net force.
Write the steps or relationships that explain the result:
Draw directional arrows and compare their total effects before predicting motion.
Summarize the method in your own words, with a diagram or labeled units where useful:
Balanced forces do not require the object to be at rest.
Describe how you will recognize and correct this mistake:
Use the mixed practice check linked in the hub. Record the skill you need to revisit and your next study step.
