Practice directions

Directions: Allow 55 minutes. Base your answers on the graphics. Do not use a calculator or formula sheet. Do scratch work in the booklet. Select one A–D response for each question. Answer every question; guessing has no penalty. Revisit questions within the same 55-minute period if time remains. The first three questions have individual graphics. Later sets have two or three related questions. Black dividers mark group endings. The source graphics appear at the first question of each group; keep them available when answering later questions in that group. All 38 questions receive teaching explanations and count toward a learning score. The internal 32 operational analogues match ACT's published allocation. Six supplementary analogues also count for practice learning. This raw count does not predict an ACT scale score, level, NCRC award or job qualification. This is an original independent practice form. No official item, wording or artwork was copied. Current primary sources support its timing and content allocation; empirical calibration against a live test has not been conducted.
