Practice directions

This original learning form contains 90 questions with one best answer and four alternatives. It follows the PTCE outline effective January 6, 2026. It is independent practice content and is not an official PTCB exam or an endorsement. Student directions for the surrounding book or hub: Allow 110 minutes for the questions. Work without references, select one answer per question, and use a basic calculator when needed. The actual examination supplies a digital calculator and prohibits personal calculators; a basic calculator is the printable practice substitution. No formula or conversion sheet is provided. Units, product-specific assumptions, and any special calculation conditions appear in the stems. Do not look at answers or explanations until finished. Scoring: Give one point for every correct response across all 90 questions. Review mistakes by domain. The real exam contains 80 scored and 10 unidentified unscored questions. This practice form has 80 operational analogues allocated 28/15/19/18 across the four domains, plus ten supplementary pilot analogues allocated 4/2/2/2 by editorial choice and distributed throughout the form. Every practice question counts for learning, and none is an actual field-tested question. The real passing score is 1400 on a 1000–1600 scale; this practice raw score cannot be converted to that scale or used as a credential prediction.
