IELTS Academic original practice — printed learning adaptation This set has 40 Listening questions (Q1–40), 40 Reading questions (Q41–80), two Writing tasks (Q81–82), and three Speaking part blocks (Q83–85). The 85 source numbers are not 85 official scored questions. Listening: use the four parts in order and hear each programme once. The scripts must be read by a facilitator or made into a suitable recording; do not read them yourself during the test. Read the question instructions and preview the indicated group when the facilitator tells you to. Write or mark the response before moving on. The programme is intended to take about 30 minutes, followed by two minutes to check answers; its actual spoken duration is not yet measured. Reading: use Reading-Passages.tex throughout Q41–80. You have 60 minutes for all three passages and 40 responses, including checking. Respect the stated word limits and use passage words where instructed. Each heading in Q54–59 is used once; matching letters in Q21–25 and Q60–63 may be used more than once. Writing: allow 60 minutes for both tasks, approximately 20 for Q81 and 40 for Q82. Write connected prose on separate paper, at least 150 words for Task1 and 250 for Task2. Use the supplied chart for Task1. Speaking: answer a facilitator aloud for 11–14 minutes. Part1 is a familiar-topic conversation of 4–5 minutes. Part2 gives one preparation minute and a 1–2-minute long turn, with brief follow-up questions within 3–4 minutes. Part3 discusses related issues for 4–5 minutes. Printed example responses cannot demonstrate pronunciation or oral fluency. This printed practice does not reproduce the official computer interface. The March5,2026 IELTS notice announces withdrawal of full-paper delivery from mid2026 on market-specific schedules. Writing-on-Paper in selected markets is still computer delivery for Listening and Reading. No raw practice total predicts an official IELTS band.
