CLEP Principles of Management Practice Test 1

This 100-item practice test is designed to mirror the CLEP Principles of Management examination, which measures familiarity with the theory and practice of managing organizations through terminology, underlying theory, and application to short workplace scenarios. For each question, select the single best answer from the five choices given (A--E). Most items are grouped in short sets of two to five questions beneath a shared business scenario, diagram, or data table describing a manager, team, or organization; a few items are standalone questions of theory or terminology. Coverage is proportioned across the exam's four official content categories: Functional Aspects of Management (planning, organizing, leading, and controlling), 50 items; Organization and Human Resources, 20 items; Operational Aspects of Management, 15 items; and International Management and Contemporary Issues, 15 items. Allow yourself about 90 minutes to work through all 100 items at an exam-like pace, then check your answers against the key and read every explanation, even for items you answered correctly. All people, companies, and scenarios in this test are fictional and created solely for practice. This independently written practice test is not an official College Board CLEP Principles of Management exam form and is not endorsed by or affiliated with the College Board.
