CLEP Introductory Business Law Practice Test 1
This 100-item practice test is designed to mirror the CLEP Introductory Business Law examination, which measures familiarity with the legal environment of business through fact terminology, legal concepts and principles, and the application of both to short case scenarios. For each question, select the single best answer from the five choices given (A--E). Most items are grouped in short sets of two to four questions beneath a shared fact pattern describing a business dispute or transaction; a few items are standalone questions of doctrine or terminology. Coverage is proportioned across the exam's major content areas: the American legal system, sources of law, and business ethics; contracts; torts and crimes affecting business; agency and employment law; business organizations; the Uniform Commercial Code, sales, and commercial paper; and property, bailments, insurance, and related regulation. Allow yourself about 90 minutes to work through all 100 items at an exam-like pace, then check your answers against the key and read every explanation, even for items you answered correctly. All parties, companies, and fact patterns in this test are fictional and created solely for practice. This independently written practice test is not an official College Board CLEP Introductory Business Law exam form and is not endorsed by or affiliated with the College Board.
