CLEP College Mathematics Practice Test 1

Answer all 60 questions in approximately 90 minutes. Every question has one best answer chosen from four options (A--D). An on-screen scientific (nongraphing) calculator, modeled on the TI-30XS MultiView, is built into the exam software and available for the entire test; no personal calculator is permitted. Content is distributed as follows: algebra and functions (approximately 20%), financial mathematics (approximately 20%), data analysis and statistics (approximately 15%), logic and sets (approximately 15%), counting and probability (approximately 10%), geometry (approximately 10%), and numbers (approximately 10%). There is no penalty for guessing, so answer every question. Read every choice before deciding, work each problem fully before comparing your result to the options, and mark time-consuming items to revisit. This independently written practice test is not an official CLEP form.
