AP Human Geography Practice Test 1
This practice test contains 60 multiple-choice questions to be completed in 60 minutes, mirroring the length and timing of Section I of the official AP Human Geography Exam, which counts for 50 percent of the total exam score. Items 1--56 appear in fourteen scenario clusters of four questions, each built around a shared stimulus --- a data table, a population pyramid, a flow-line migration diagram, a land-use map, or an urban-model diagram --- spanning all seven units of the College Board's Course and Exam Description: Thinking Geographically; Population and Migration; Cultural Patterns and Processes; Political Patterns and Processes; Agriculture and Rural Land Use; Cities and Urban Land Use; and Industrialization and Economic Development. Items 57--60 are standalone. For every item, select the single best answer from the four choices given. These questions are independently created for practice purposes and are not official College Board questions; this set is not endorsed by or affiliated with the College Board or the AP Human Geography Program.
