AP Drawing Practice Test 1
AP Drawing has no timed, seated multiple-choice or free-response exam. The AP score comes entirely from a Digital Portfolio --- a Sustained Investigation (15 images, scored on four rubric rows: Inquiry, Practice/Experimentation/Revision, Materials/Processes/Ideas, and Drawing Skills) and a set of Selected Works (5 images, scored holistically) --- submitted and evaluated by trained AP readers. This practice test reviews the course's written-knowledge components rather than simulating a studio exam: drawing materials and technique, mark-making and observational skills, compositional and formal analysis of described drawn works, the inquiry-based sustained-investigation process, and portfolio submission mechanics. Items 1--30 appear in six scenarios of five questions each, built around a described drawn work, a materials/technique comparison, or a rubric-application scenario. Items 31--38 stand alone. Choose the best answer for each item. These questions are independently created for study purposes and are not official College Board items.
