AP Comparative Government and Politics Practice Test 1

This practice test contains 55 multiple-choice questions to be completed in 60 minutes, mirroring the length and timing of Section I of the official AP Comparative Government and Politics Exam, which counts for 50 percent of the total exam score. Items 1--40 appear in ten scenario clusters of four questions, each built around a shared stimulus --- a comparison table, an institutional diagram, or a constructed data set --- drawn from the course's six required countries: China, Iran, Mexico, Nigeria, Russia, and the United Kingdom. Items 41--55 are standalone. For every item, select the single best answer from the four choices given. These questions are independently created for practice purposes and are not official College Board questions; this set is not endorsed by or affiliated with the College Board or the AP Comparative Government and Politics Program.
