AP 3-D Art and Design Practice Test 1

This set reviews the terminology, process, and portfolio-submission requirements tested on AP 3-D Art and Design. Complete all 38 items at your own pace: there is no official time limit, because this course has no timed multiple-choice or free-response exam --- the assessment is scored entirely from a student-submitted digital portfolio (a Sustained Investigation section and a Selected Works section), not from a sit-down test. Items 1--32 appear in seven scenarios built around fictional students' investigations, described sculptural works, and submission choices; items 33--38 stand alone. These questions are independently created and are not official AP Art and Design questions. Every three-dimensional work referenced below is described in words only, with no images embedded. Base each answer strictly on the scenario's wording and on the official structure of the AP 3-D Art and Design Course and Exam Description summarized here.
