AP 2-D Art and Design Practice Test 1

This set contains 36 multiple-choice review items covering the terminology, portfolio structure, rubric language, and submission requirements you need to know for AP 2-D Art and Design. AP 2-D Art and Design has no timed multiple-choice or free-response exam in real life --- the entire AP score is earned from a digital portfolio (Sustained Investigation and Selected Works) scored by trained AP readers against published rubrics. This practice test instead reviews that portfolio process, its two rubrics, and its official vocabulary in a familiar question-and-answer format so you can check your understanding before you build and submit your own portfolio. Work through all 36 items at a comfortable pace; there is no official time limit to simulate. Items 1--24 are grouped into six scenarios that each reference a short description of a hypothetical student's portfolio work; items 25--36 are standalone. These questions are independently created and are not official College Board or AP Art and Design questions.
